Terms and Conditions
- How to Book
Bookings may be made through the online booking system or by contacting Pulse Training Partnership Limited (hereinafter titled PTP) directly.

For a booking to be confirmed it must be accompanied by payment. Please see Methods of Payment below. Please ensure you have read, understood and accepted the Terms and Conditions before you submit a booking. By placing a booking you will be deemed to have read, understood and accepted them.
2. Methods of Payment
Payment of the course fees should be made in advance at the time of placing a booking.
Payment can be made by:
BACS
Cheque or cash
Via PayPal
An invoice will be raised at the time of booking training or ordering goods. Invoices for training provision must be settled 7 days prior to the first date of training or on receipt of invoice in the case of late bookings. Invoices for provision of goods must be settled prior to ordering where total cost is over £100 (exc. vat). For ordering of goods under £100 (exc. vat) invoices must be settled within 14 days from invoice date.
Please note that bookings for training are not secured until payment is received.
PTP reserve the right to withhold certificates until payment is received in full.
VAT is charged on our product sales and services at a rate of 20%.
3. Privacy Policy
We do not store credit or debit card details, nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties
4. Cancellation Policy
Bookings can only be cancelled in writing by post or email. Cancellation fees are charged at the discretion of PTP as follows: Cancellations up to 10 working days of the training start date will be charged the full course fee. Cancellations from 11 up to 15 working days of the training start date will be charged 50% of the course fee. Cancellations 16 working days or more in advance of the course will incur no charge.
5. Delegate Submission Policy
For courses certificated by QNUK (as identified on PTP website and literature) delegates are required to bring photographic proof of ID. For FIRST AID AT WORK Re-Qualification courses, delegates are required to prove the validity of their First Aid at Work (FAW) qualification and must bring their original FAW Certificate with them on their first day of training. It is possible to substitute an alternative delegate on any place booked at no additional cost. PTP do not guarantee that a delegate will pass the course taken.
6.1 Course Transfer policy
A confirmed booking may be transferred to another of PTPs courses, availability permitting, providing that course takes place within three months of the date originally booked. PTP is not obliged to ensure suitable alternatives are available.
Requests to transfer should be made in writing by post or email.
6.2 Cancellations
Cancellations up to 10 working days of the training start date will be charged the full course fee. Cancellations from 11 up to 15 working days of the training start date will be charged 50% of the course fee. Cancellations 16 working days or more in advance of the course will incur no charge.
Any such fees due will revert to a cancellation fee in respect of the original booking if the transferred booking is subsequently cancelled.
A booking can only be transferred on one occasion. Subsequent transfers will be treated as cancellations.
7 Course Content and Programme Schedule policy
PTP reserves the right to alter the advertised schedule of courses, which may include cancellation of a course.
Where PTP cancels a course, individuals with confirmed bookings on that course will be offered alternative dates. If none can be provided then a full refund will be given.
PTP reserves the right to alter or amend the advertised content of any course without notice in order to continuously provide a high quality service, changes in legislation, updates in professional practice or due to circumstances beyond our control.
PTP will not be liable for any losses or expenses, including consequential, arising from any such alterations or amendments to the programme content and schedule including cancellation.
8.1 Acceptable Use of Facilities
In placing a booking you agree to abide by PTPs Acceptable Use Policy relating to the use of PTPs, or their partners, facilities. This policy requires the following:
8.2 Smoking
The training premises are non-smoking and all delegates are required to adhere to this policy. An external smoking area will usually be provided at the premises.
8.3 Exclusion
PTP reserves the right to refuse access to its facilities and premises where there is reason to believe that a delegate is in breach of these conditions or where a delegate uses threatening, bullying, harassing or disruptive behaviour.
PTP will not be liable for any losses or expense (including course fees and consequential damages) incurred by a delegate arising from such an exclusion.
