Employers are required by current legislation to provide training for employees, including the actions to be taken in the event of a fire.

This programme will ensure your staff members can manage the day to day fire safety and housekeeping issues whilst ensuring that, in the event of fire, they control an effective evacuation of your premises.

This is an interactive programme and aims to give confidence to delegates.

  3. Understand the importance of a prompt and safe evacuation of the workplace
    Outline the actions to be taken on hearing a fire alarm
    Outline how a safe evacuation can be undertaken in a workplace
  4. Know how to support individuals during an evacuation
    Outline what is meant by the term personal emergency evacuation plan
    Explain when a PEEP would be implemented
    List ways of supporting an individual during an evacuation
  5. Understand the roles of the Fire Warden in the workplace
    Explain the actions to be taken by a fire warden during an evacuation
    Outline how to undertake a search of a workplace
    Outline the day to day duties of a fire warden
    Outline the content of a fire safety briefing
