This Safe Use of Ladders training course is designed to provide awareness of requirements to work safely on ladders and step-ladders.

A certificate of attendance is provided following a practical exercise on visual inspection of equipment available on site.

Course content

Safe use of ladders training covers the following elements:

Statistics on work at height;
Case study;
Requirements under the Work at Height Regulations;

Ladder safety rules;
pre-user inspections;
Practical visual inspection of equipment on site.

Assessment

The course includes interactive exercises as well as practical ladder inspection – on equipment available at clients premises.
