AED (defibrillator) training
AED (defibrillator) training Course Overview
AED units (defibrillators) are becoming increasingly available in public buildings, schools and shopping centres which is great news and so this course is suitable for anyone who would like to ‘make a difference’ in an emergency situation.
If your organisation has purchased or is looking to provide a defibrillator unit for your premises, then AED defibrillator training ensures that staff feel comfortable and confident to use it and help to save a life.
‘The Resuscitation Council states that if defibrillation is delivered promptly, survival rates as high as 75% have been reported. The Resuscitation Council (UK) recommends strongly a policy of attempting defibrillation with the minimum of delay in victims of cardiac arrest.’

This AED defibrillator training course is designed to explain to candidates how to recognise cardiac arrest and treat a casualty using an AED (defibrillator). An automated external defibrillator (AED) is an automatic, portable device which is applied to a person’s body. It reads the patient’s heart rhythm and advises whether or not a shock is needed. It is used to restore correct heart rhythm to patients in cardiac arrest.
Training can be delivered on site with flexible times for Group bookings
