Community First Aid
We’re here to support the whole community in promoting first aid skills that are essential when someone may need your help.
The aid you can give just be a little bit of tender loving care. I always remember by mum who brought out the’magic sponge’ any time I had a bump and a bit of a bruise….. it may be that you are in a situation where a loved one, child or adult, needs life saving cpr or is choking. Would you know what to do?
You, your family and friends can learn about and practice these essential skills in the comfort of your home with Jayne or Lynne.
We’d love to hear from you and we’re here to have a chat and answer any questions or concerns you may have.

Mini First Aid Workshops
We’re also really excited to be offering Mini First Aid workshops from pre-school upwards tailored appropriately to the ages of the children attending. Our mini pre-schooler’s can meet Fido the first aid dog and learn how to call for help and the very basics. Year 6 students will learn how to carry out CPR, do recovery position and know about how to control bleeding and help with asthma and other conditions. In this training children work in teams to answer questions and play games at the end to consolidate learning. Your school may decide to award points to the winning team or provide other incentives. A certificate will be provided that you can print off and reward your children; and importantly they will have learned the skills that may help to save a life.
